In her early years, Emma started out studying ballet at the Classic Ballet Centre, Surrey. She focused on RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) grades 1-7, and then went onto later studying contemporary, commercial and acro dancing. Nearing the end of her college years she found circus arts, which allowed her to explore movement with unique skills.

While studying at the National Centre for Circus in London, she learnt how to combine dance with theatre to create devised circus pieces. Her skills vary from Juggling and Manipulation to aerial and basic acrobatics skills, favoring towards juggling balls and knives.

Her first professional show was an interactive theatre production 'You me and the bum bum train', as a dancer eventually becoming Dance Captain for several performances.
